Now is the time to start thinking of designs for a fun stocking. That way you can take a few spare moments here and there to work on it. {Where are those spare moments hiding right now?} We'll have an event to get together and work on the stockings, but it is never too early to start dreaming!
It'll be a great project to put some creative energy towards when you feel a little overwhelmed with school projects. And what better end result than a smile on a child's face? Get excited!

"....Last year we added an auction element which raised money to help the families of the children with cancer. (HKWC) So for those of you making stockings, we are asking if you will please make a choice on whether you want to make a stocking for a child 18 months-18 years old; or make a stocking that someone will buy. ALL money goes to the families in the form of grocery or gas cards. It's the most rewarding charity I've ever been a part of because we know we are providing 100% direct
help.
The auction stockings also open up a chance to design a different kind of stocking than what might be done for a child. This stocking might appeal to someone wanting to purchase a unique, hand-made, one of a kind piece of artwork! How to decide what to do?
